Working Pupils – Ross Dhu Equestrian is pleased to be able to offer 3 spaces for working pupils who would like to gain industry experience whilst studying for their Equido qualifications. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates to hone their technical skills to the standards required by Equido whilst gaining invaluable experience on working with remedial horses.
Candidates will also receive lectures on every module and will receive tutorage in additional skills as required in the equine industry. Each candidate will receive one to one guidance by an assessor who will guide them through their modules.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and is an ideal opportunity for those candidates thinking about a full time equestrian career to gain a feel for the industry.
Student Learning – For those candidates who are studying Equido whilst maintaining a full time job, we can offer study days on either a Saturday or Sunday where you can join the team at Ross Dhu Equestrian in their day to day tasks. You will have the opportunity to hone your skills and learn how to apply the knowledge you have gained through studying. This is an ideal opportunity for those candidates who do not have access to or own a horse, to really get a feel for the equine and their needs. It is an ideal opportunity for those candidates who are thinking about purchasing their first horse to gain practical experience that will enable them to flourish in their new partnerships.
Candidates will also receive lectures on any modules they request and can spend one to one time with their assessors / instructors for guidance on any subject matter they require.
