We have been asked by clients to post the following Horses/Ponies for sale or loan:-

Bridie – 15.2hh Lightweight Hunter/Small Sports Horse

This fabulous little rescue horse has just been professionally backed by Ross Dhu Equestrian. She is now available for re-homing via ERR for an adoption fee of £750.

Bridie is a sharp little mare who will make an excellent competition horse. She has had at least two foals and has just weaned her last foal. She has been lightly backed and started and will happily work in walk, trot and canter in an arena with other horses working around her. She is not fazed by anything and is very forward going. She is an ideal horse for the more experienced rider wishing to pursue competition work and seems to prefer men although works quite happily for women. She is now ready to be brought on and will be a great little horse.

Mannie – 8 year old, Skewbald Welsh x Trotter, approx 14.2 – 15hh for loan.

Mannie is a lovely kind natured horse who loves to be around people and really wants to please. But he’s also cheeky and highly spirited when he wants to be! Using the right methods it’s easy to work with him and he responds well to natural / intelligent horsemanship.

We have played a lot on the ground and he loves to try and figure out what you are asking him to do – he is very inquisitive. He hacks out well on his own and has mostly been ridden in a natural hackamore.

He has had some basic schooling but has never been taught to jump. He’s very smart and learns quickly if he’s feeling confident so I’m sure he will excel very quickly in whatever he is asked to do.

Mannie would be best suited to a confident, experienced rider who practices natural / intelligent horsemanship.

Mannie lives out all year round and requires very little feed if given sufficient hay/grass. His hooves are trimmed by a barefoot practitioner so doesn’t require shoes. Must be kept with other horses.
